SAYING GOODBYE TO THINGS
Saying goodbye to things is a photographic project by Nuno Leão, which led to an installation of photography and text on 35mm slides and the publication of a photography and essay book entitled "Saying goodbye to things, followed by A theory of the image (or the performance of the world)". The book includes photography by Nuno Leão, essays by Diogo Martins and graphic design by Rita Pestana. "say goodbye to things" is an installation of photography and text to occupy the back of a corridor, an isolated room, an empty room, a basement, an attic. "say goodbye to things" is a collection of traces, remains, tracks, objects, people, animals, images, words, gestures, thoughts. "Saying goodbye to things" is a remembrance. "Saying goodbye to things" is an attempt to inscribe a path in the landscape, or at least the marks it has left.
