PERFORMING ARTS

The best thing about putting on an open-air show is having the sky as a web of light and the sound of the city as a soundtrack

Based on the specific time and space in which the TeatroAgosto Festival takes place, Ana Gil & Nuno Leão invite people from the Fundão community to build a theatrical object that is called Ato de Verão (Summer Act).

The idea is to share a common space and time, where the essential thing will be the unique experience that each spectator has when witnessing this event.

SYNOPSIS

In our Paradise we can start again.

In our Paradise we can say whatever we want.

In our Paradise there are no tax frauds or financial scandals.

In our Paradise, hope doesn’t arrive in packages of measures made by a foreign government.

In our Paradise, the state budget for culture is at least 1%.

In our Paradise there is still a Festival like TeatroAgosto.

You can’t miss a good feijoada in our Paradise.

In our Paradise, parties smell like sardines.

In our Paradise, the streets are full of people.

In our Paradise there are open-air shows. How?
