"Kurt Cobain: There's no end in us" is a project by Ana Gil & Nuno Leão in partnership with Cine-Teatro Avenida in Castelo Branco, aimed at students aged 13 to 18. On stage, 13 teenagers rehearse, live, ways of projecting the reality they perceive. As in a road-movie, they embark on a journey with no starting or finishing point, in which they compose their manifesto in the form of an album of songs, trying to continue the work of Kurt Cobain.

“Kurt Cobain” is a project by Ana Gil & Nuno Leão in partnership with Cine-Teatro Avenida in Castelo Branco, aimed at students aged 13 to 18.

On stage, 13 teenagers rehearse live ways of projecting the reality they perceive. Like in a road-movie, they embark on a journey with no starting or finishing point, in which they compose their manifesto in the form of an album of songs, trying to continue the work of Kurt Cobain.

“Kurt Cobain – there’s no end in us” is a manifesto.

“Kurt Cobain – there’s no end in us” is a double CD that hints at continuity. It’s an album with a hidden track promising other albums to come.

“Kurt Cobain – there ́s no end in us” doesn’t want an end. This album of songs has a hidden track.

SYNOPSIS

We want to sit in front of you.
We want to listen to the sound of your breathing.
We want to feel the echo of our cry in your bodies.
And we want to listen to our words in your silence.
