ABOUT

+ FESTIVAL

“SINGULAR” is a cycle of multidisciplinary artistic creation by Terceira Pessoa that proposes a program characterized by the intersection of various artistic disciplines with a strong urban, contemporary and experimental component and which aims to establish itself as a divergent and attractive artistic project for the cultural panorama of the Castelo Branco region.

The cycle, in its 5th edition, seeks, in a unique and SINGULAR way, experimentation as an expression of creative and critical freedom, as a tool that fosters innovative dynamics in individual and collective thought.

+ EXPERIMENTAL

With an admittedly multidisciplinary and experimental nature, the program offers an experience of different artistic languages and aesthetic proposals. It includes performing arts, installation, disciplinary crossings and experimental cinema. The program also includes artistic residencies and conversations between the public and the artists.

+ COLLABORATION

The aim of this cycle is to stimulate a movement of appreciation and cultural development outside the major centers, through the presentation of languages with an experimental and contemporary approach, by artists with unique visions of the world and contemporaneity, acting to involve local communities and visitors around the knowledge generated in the broad field of the arts.

Singular – Cycle of Pluridisciplinary Artistic Creation is an initiative of Terceira Pessoa, a structure funded by the Portuguese Republic – Culture / Directorate General for the Arts, with the support of Castelo Branco City Council, Centro de Cultura Contemporâneo, Cine-Teatro Avenida and Fábrica da Criatividade, Amato Lusitano Partnership – Development Association and Media Support from Reconquista Newspaper.
